Class: Towards & Together

Towards & Together: A ritual-based workshop series to explore, (re) connect and expand y(our) magic.
Towards & Together is a 2 day ritual-based workshop series offering an opportunity for folks to gather within sacred space and journey together using trance, spell casting, song and more. Though much of this work is self-exploratory, it can be very impactful to witness and be witnessed in. The series will use the questions: What is the magic I carry? What are my blocks? What/who are my magical allies? How can i expand my magical self?
The intention of this workshop is to support both individual and collective sustainability, magic and connection.
Magic and ritual means different things to individuals and within various communities and cultures. You do not need to have any particular experience, identity or belief to join in. This includes folks of any gender identity, faith/spiritual practice and/or capacity and abilities. The series will be rooted in anti-oppressive values and practices.
When: Saturday November 16 (11am – 5pm)
Sunday November 17 (11am – 5pm)
Location: 268 Keefer st.
Wheelchair accessible and scent reduced space with variety of seating options.

Hello, I’m Sharon Pink, Priestess and magic maker. I am a queer, survivor, Portuguese/Polish white queer cis femme living on the unceded land of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil Waututh Nations. I have been leading magical workshops and classes for several years, and also have many more years of teaching and support group facilitation.
This offering is very close to my heart because it is essentially a series that combines many of the tools and ritual activities that have kept/keep me alive. My spiritual practice includes my daily personal rituals, consistent coven gatherings and community rituals and teachings. I believe that we are all in this together and connection can be a way to keep going.

I wish to respectfully acknowledge this will be taking place on unceded territory of the Squamish, Musqueam, and Tsleil Waututh Nations. As an uninvited guest, I strive to live my life by listening, supporting and respecting this land, the people, their ancestors and descendants. I see that it is a privilege to gather and connect in a spiritual practice here, and will do my best (with the intention of continually getting better) at ensuring as a group we honour this privilege.
I also wish to share that the space we will be meeting at is in Chinatown, where many communities are being displaced, including many Chinese Elders. I believe in reparations as an act of resource sharing, respect and community, and will be sharing 30% of registration fees with Yarrow Intergenerational Society for Justice. www.yarrowsociety.ca They are a neighbouring organization who I’ve been fortunate to begin building relationships with many of their community members.
